ABOUT ME

Welcome!
My name is Brittany Haig.
I grew up in the small coastal town of Port Alfred, South Africa, where my grandparents were the heart of my childhood. Creativity has always been part of my life—whether it was my mother teaching me how to colour at restaurant tables, watching my older brother sketch dragons and anime, or painting a cherry blossom tree mural on an old window blind for my mom to hang on her wall.
From a young age, I found joy in creating and sharing my work with others. At 13, I made Scooby-Doo wire keychains and sold them to my teachers. By 16, I was sketching designs to print on shirts and hoodies, eager to share them with anyone willing to buy. Reaching my 20's I spent hours on calls with my dad, trying to figure out what to do with a website, navigating the challenges of turning creativity into something tangible.

Beyond art and design, I’ve always had a soft spot for animals—so much so that I have a habit of picking up more strays than I probably should. The beach has always felt like home to me, a place where I can clear my mind and soak in the simple beauty of the world. I love getting lost in a good book, letting music set the mood for my day, and unwinding with video games when I need an escape.
Through every experiment, trial, and even the ventures that didn’t quite work out, I realized that as long as I enjoy what I create, that’s enough. Life is too short not to have fun with what you do, and I’m always looking forward to whatever the next creative challenge may be.
